Telugu Daily Audio Bible Podcast is for all who can understand Telugu. Our intention is to let God speak to you personally through Bible. It's confusing to understand the sermons sometimes and we miss out what The Bible really has to say. It's very important to read the Bible every day no matter how busy our lives are. The idea behind this Podcast is to create an opportunity for everyone to keep in touch with God even though caught up in the busy-ness of the world's crazy schedules. It's always easy to just carry an iPod, mobile phone or an mp3 player with a new episode of Telugu Daily Audio Bible in your pockets whereever you go and you're never far away from the Word of God. Each episode is a treasure of carefully and prayerfully chosen chapters from both Old and New Testaments with short prayer at the beginning and at the end. Hope this will be a blessing to you all.

In His Service,
Jonathan & Beula

Dear TDAB Family,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Today we are celebrating 1st Anniversary of ‘Telugu Daily Audio Bible’. Paul writes: ‘So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’ (Romans 10.17). This has been the motivation behind TDAB all the year.

History:
We have started Telugu Daily Audio Bible podcast on 19th July, 2007. When we started this, we never knew or thought that TDAB will be this huge and will be admired worldwide. Initially, we used to randomly read Telugu Bible without any pattern or plan. Later, we realised that TDAB should be PERFECT and very well formatted to really make sense. So, we began reading in a structured way and we are still continuing by the Grace of God. The background music, the quality of sound and the Telugu reading skills were very poor initially but we have come many miles away and we have long way to go, of course, with your prayers and contribution to the service!

Ministry in India:
www.HighPriest.Org (TDAB) is a child ministry of HillTop Ministries, India established in 2005. We have never ignored the Ministry in India, it is just that we have never mentioned about it in TDAB. My father (Dr. R I Diwakar Garu), being an Evangelist and working in many villages, conducts all HillTop Ministries activities include preaching Gospel, planting churches, conducting many events including clothes/blankets distribution, chairing/speaking at many public prayer meetings, conducting medical camps and of course baptising people in the Name of Our Lord, to name a few. While these activities are going on, we have always been conducting Saturday Fasting Prayers for many people’s prayer requests and EVERYDAY Prayers for the Requests being made at www.HighPriest.org. And we know that God is powerfully working through our Ministries in India.

Challenges:
Yes, like any other Service, we have been facing huge challenges through out the year. Especially around technicalities, time management and personal lives. We hugely depend on technology unlike many other ministries. Software, hardware and the Service provider are major hurdles to be faced with each day. As you all know, we both are software engineers in responsible positions and with very busy schedules. I changed my job in 2007. Taking out Quality Time for God every day has been a huge challenge throughout the year. To balance work, ministry and personal lives was even more challenging when we had to change our home last year. Frankly, it was a stressful year. In all these, we never compromised our ministry with any other things happening around us. TDAB took HIGH priority.

Support:
As you all know, we have NEVER asked for any financial support from anyone except God. All the activities in India and the TDAB are self-supported through our Tithes. God has blessed us to be self-sufficient for all our needs in the Ministry. In fact, we support many ministries and many people in need through our activities. For us, ‘Apostle Paul’ is always been an example. Paul has weaved tents and earned his food with the work of his own hands while preaching and travelling all around. Paul never depended on anyone’s money. We follow this example. We thank God for all the provision.

Plans for 2008-2009
For any person/organisation/ministry, we feel that there should be a vision. And the Bible in Proverbs 6:2 says, ‘A man without vision shall perish‘. Therefore, we have set ourselves few objectives for 08-09 and we tend to review once a month from now on to keep track in order not to loose focus on the objectives. We request you all to pray so that we can achieve these.

•	Complete reading entire Telugu Bible.
•	Produce and distribute Telugu Audio Bible CDs in every Christian Home in Andhra Pradesh by the end of 08-09.
•	Migrate to our own Website rather than depending on any other service provider like mypodcast.com.
•	Plan for ‘Telugu Bible Experience (New Testament)’ as suggested by RRK Murthy garu.
•	Start ‘Vaduka Bhasha’ Telugu Bible so that non-Christians can easily understand Bible.

We are today adding a caption/tag to ‘Telugu Daily Audio Bible' we call it 'Telugu Daily Audio Bible – Breakfast with Jesus’

God Bless you all.

In His Service Always,
TDAB Team.

PRAISE THE LORD!

You may have noticed my voice today. I am suffering from severe cold and fever from yesterday. I could not read John 3 & 4 today as I am unable to even sit in front of computer to record and open my eyes. All praise to him even in this situation. May be this is an opportunity for me to jot down some of my thoughts from within my heart.

While I am at home today, I feel I am missing something at work. Some of you already know that I look after London Cluster for all NHS QA. Quiet a responsible job God has given me to take care of people’s lives in London, which also enables me to feed my family, few pastors, few orphans and few missionaries. I still wonder about God’s purpose of placing me in this job. But God’s job always takes priority because I feel and Holy Spirit within me agrees that God has given me the responsibility of the Whole World and not just London. Somewhere within my heart says ‘TDAB family around the world are waiting for today’s word’. When I think about it, I feel like jumping out of my bed and record today’s word early at 4am but my body did not co-operate at all. My Spirit was willing but my flesh did not.

I (we) met some of our fellow Telugu Christian brothers and sisters on the other side of London during the weekend. It was amazing to meet such wonderful people with such faith and determination to do the work of the Lord. We all knew within our hearts through the Holy Spirit that we can achieve greater things when worked together not only in London but throughout the UK. My heart burned with fire when I heard some testimonies which I will share with you over time and I just felt like God is working powerfully in people’s lives no matter what the circumstances are. I would want to participate in more meetings in the UK and also in the rest of the world where my spirit is revived and I understand God’s purpose of my existence.

I still wonder some people thinking, ‘God has brought me here to UK/US and I am thankful for that’. But I think, ‘Yes mate, God has brought you here to the UK/US, what have you done for him? God has given an opportunity to be in the best part of the world, which many do not have, but what have you achieved through this opportunity?’ I feel like there is a huge potential to do more for God being in the UK or US than being in India. I strongly feel that you are not competent enough to meet the international standards, you are not equipped enough to do the best in the world; you are not working hard enough; you are not skilful enough to do what God wants you to do. Being in US or UK is not enough. Doing what God has planned for you is much more important than being in UK/US. I believe God can reveal His plan step by step if we are spending time with Him, through His word and through many other ways. It’s only a matter of opening our hearts.

Finally, please pray for my health.

In His service always,
J!

Dear TDAB Family,

Today we have added one more widget to our website, ‘The TDAB Chat’. Although, there is a bit of work left to match the colour:), the functionality works as intended.

After recording the Podcast this morning at 4:30am, it took a lot of time to save the recording, donno why! My computer is a bit old! So, in that spare time, I added this Chat widget in our website. Too productive, wasn’t I? Thank God for my computer, it’s performance helps sometimes! Now everyone can use this ‘TDAB Chat’!

Through this TDAB Chat widget (on the right hand side of the website), you can all communicate not only with us but also with every other member of TDAB Family. You can raise instant prayer requests or write your favourite Bible verses or start an interesting discussion or share your testimonies. It’s for all and could be a powerful and effective Friendship/Family building tool. We request all to use this tool to build up everyone’s faith.

Happy chatting!

God bless you!

Dear TDAB, greetings to you all!

I(J) was in Leeds throughout last week (it’s my job again!!), so I could not update the blog. Anyway, hope you are doing good and enjoying weekend. Our brother Varun was doing all the editing and uploading. Thank God that despite our busy schedules and out of station situations, God provided a way to continue our work. And again, I would like to ask everyone who are regularly listening to this podcast, please contribute to TDAB. If you want to know how you can contribute to this service, just drop us an email.

In today’s reading, my reflection was on ‘Transition’. After David, someone has to become King and God chose Salomon. Being a king was a great responsibility. The good thing about the transition from David to Salomon is that David had explained everything that Salomon needs to know, all known issues, all critical and priority issues and also few suggestions on how to rule the nation. Salomon picked it from there. And it was an easy exit for David and easy take over for Salomon. This reminds me of a ‘relay’ race! One has to pass one relay stick to the next runner in order to win the race. One has to pass the stick during the prescribed length and during the right time, and to the correct hand so that they both can win the race. If the transition does not take place at the right place and at the right time, they loose. As simple as that!

In the same way, in our job or in our families or in any situations, a proper transition has to happen to make things easy for both parties. This is a great lesson to be learnt through today’s reading..

God bless you all.

In His service always,
TDAB Team.

Dear TDAB Family,

What do you think of chapter 22? David was enjoying God's mercy on him rather than his accomishments. Well, I think he is. He praised God with all that in his heart!

In my childhood, I used to play cricket in the front part of our home during summer holidays. One day, while we were playing, accidentally, I broke a window glass. It was a mid summer afternoon, I was so afraid that when my parents get back home from jobs, I would definitely be punished. I still remember how terrified I was! And I was thinking all the afternoon what would happen after they are back from work. At last, the moment came, they arrived. Our home is an old fashioned, traditional one where one can easily recognize if things go wrong especially window glasses. So, my mother saw it first and was so furious at me as usual. That's her but later she calms down and becomes my favourite again. But my father recognized the fear I was going through. He called me out because as usual I was hiding somewhere and asked me to dress well and said he wanted to take me out. And surprisingly, bought me some sweets and took me to his friend's home and said to them how terrified I was after breaking the glass in the afternoon. I learned my lesson by then and never played cricket at home again! The love he has shown could change me and the entire fearful situation to a memorable experience. I still remember that incident which I will pass on to my children and my children's children.

David did exactly the same. He was in horrible and terrified situations many times throughout his life but God was in control of his life. He delivered him from all sorts of problems! That's the reason he praises and gives thanks. Are we ready to look back and think of the past miracles God has done in our lives and thank & praise Him?

God bless you all.
