Hi Jonathan,
This episode is a blessing to me personally.
Today's challenge is interesting. you have raised a very good point of confidence. Often we feel not so confident but its good to know that we have the power of God within us.
Hi Jonathan,
Its really a wonderful thought that you have implemented. Inspite of my busy schedule i am able to keep in touch with the word of GOD. Thanks again.
Thank God for this.
Yes, I feel it a challenging aspect in job as well. I am not 100% confident sometimes. I believe that its the degree of belief to know that God is with us all the time even in the toughest of the times.
Jonathan
Thank God that He has enabled me to do this.
Jonathan
Hi Jonathan,
First of all let me congartulate you for the wonderful work you are doing in the Service of God.
This is truly brilliant to make the word of God reach to so many people by your committed effort.
I would like to answer your challenge of the day for today 24th July as follows :-
You are very correct that people often take meekness as weakness but in my view they have totally different meaning altogether :-
Meekness, in general, is an attitude or quality of heart whereby a person accepts and willingly submits without resistance to the will and desires of other person.
He is willing to put himself in second place and submit himself.
Meekness is opposite of self will, self interest, self praise ,self dependency etc.
This is not a weakness but strength which requires great self control.
In case of a Believer... this comes as a gift from Holy Spirit whereby a soul completely submits to the will and desires of God.
He allows God to take control of his life by surrendering each and every matter of his life in His holy hands.
Meekness goes very closely with humility but it is not a weakness.
God Bless You and may your good work reaches to so many people and they get blessed.
There are two levels of blessings...first level is when you get blessing from God and the second level is when you become blessing for others... Praise God that you are on the second level...!
May God strengthen you and equip you with His wisdom to take this forward..!
Love in Jesus,
Saurabh
Thanks for your comments Saurabh.
This reminds me of initial days of my Salvation...how enthusiastic I was,how confident I was, however huge the problem was, it never looked bigger than my God who is always with me and does great miracles.
For me, that's confidence! Knowing that God is with us always not only in times of joy and happiness but also in toughest times, is confidence as a Christian.
There is confidence in saying 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' Phil 4:13
Even at work place, I say these verses to myself when I feel I am unable to achieve something. Instantly God gives me strength and I start to feel confident again.
Any thoughts??
Thanks
J!
